Make Construction Sites Attractive Places to Work.

CEO Message

I worked as a construction manager at a major electrical systems engineering company and then started my own electrical construction business at the age of 29. Over the next decade, while continuing to work in the construction industry, I witnessed a chronic problem: the industry constantly faced a shortage of skilled labor. However, it was still common practice to rely on personal connections and referrals to find jobs and workers, and there was little progress in utilizing IT to solve this problem related to "people."

Convinced that an IT-driven solution was essential to address this issue, I founded "Sukedachi." Going forward, the labor shortage in the construction industry is expected to worsen. The key to solving this problem lies in making the industry appealing to younger generations and in encouraging them to enter the field. However, it's not uncommon to hear craftspeople say things like, "I don't want my children to become craftsmen." This is the reality I strongly want to change.

The construction industry, in fact, offers abundant opportunities for entrepreneurs and is a field where one can earn a solid living. With our mission of "making construction sites an attractive workplace," we aim to create an efficient job-matching system through Sukedachi and build a future where the younger generation aspires to join the construction industry.

Of course, this mission cannot be achieved by Sukedachi alone. We will collaborate with various stakeholders—governments, municipalities, major general contractors, startups, and industry associations—to contribute to the development of the construction industry as a whole.

Looking ahead, we are committed to continuously launching new businesses that address social issues while aiming for further growth of our core services, the construction matching platform "Sukedachi" and the construction human resources platform "Sukedachi Employees." By expanding the value we provide, we hope to unlock new possibilities for the construction industry and build a sustainable and attractive future for the sector.

Mission

Make construction sites
attractive places to work.

The construction industry in Japan is a massive sector with about 5 million people engaged in it. However, it faces a severe and chronic labor shortage due to the retirement of aging skilled workers and the declining number of younger entrants, caused by the unchanging labor and business conditions.

Our company leverages IT to provide simple and user-friendly services that anyone working on construction sites can intuitively use, contributing to the resolution of labor shortages.

We aim to create a society where everyone working on-site can find the job or business partner they desire, improving not only working conditions and wages but also enabling everyone to work with a sense of fulfillment and pride.
